Resort

LionsDive Beach Resort is located directly on the beach, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The turquoise water invites you to swim in the calm cove. Enjoy diving excursions to explore Curaçao’s natural reefs teaming with colourful sealife. Explore Willemstad, the capital (a five-minute drive to downtown), as well as a variety of island adventures and great dining.

Dive Operation

Ocean Encounters has onsite facilities at our resort, LionsDive, with four custom dive boats, and a lineup of world-class diving sites, such as Mushroom Forest, Blue Room, Klein Curaçao and Eastpoint, with healthy reefs and density of the fish for some great diving!

More about the Trip

Blue North Scuba Club members are invited to join Rebecca Metcalfe, our trip leader, on the Blue North Scuba Club Trip to Curaçao, November 10 – 18, 2023. Curaçao is one of the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao) located in the southern Caribbean sea just off the north coast of Venezuela, and is a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. We’ll be staying at LionsDive Beach Resort

LionsDive sits on an idyllic, palm-studded private beach that overlooks Curaçao’s famously clear waters and the fringing reef of Curaçao’s National Underwater Park. The resort is located on the longest white beach of Curaçao, right next to Mambo Beach at the well known Bapor Kibra strip. Just a few footsteps away, you will discover the Mambo Beach Boulevard, with its wide array of bars, restaurants and shops. You will also find the Curaçao Sea Aquarium and Dolphin Academy all within walking distance of the resort…and just a 5-minute drive away is the picturesque Dutch colonial city of Willemstad, with its world-renowned colorful Dutch-Caribbean architecture and its multitude of historical monuments that have earned the city a spot on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

The resort’s superb location makes it a perfect launch point for discovering what the island has to offer. For underwater enthusiasts, there are more than 70 dive sites, and excellent snorkeling opportunities both at the resort and the many other beach locations throughout the island. LionsDive caters to vacationers of all ages, and is family-friendly. Rooms are on hold in three categories: Resortview Rooms, Oceanview Rooms, and Oceanfront Rooms. The property has other accommodation options which can be viewed on the LionsDive website. Currently there are no Beachfront Cabanas available, but there are 2-bedroom Suites and Apartments, which we can inquire about re availability and cost if you are seriously interested.
