I’m absolutely delighted to tell you about a Blue North Scuba Club Trip to the Maldives and Türkiye in October 2026. As the trip planner and leader, I’m inviting you to join me in exploring these two exotic destinations in a journey that blends ancient wonders with tropical paradise, world-class scuba diving and snorkelling.

Instanbul

We begin by discovering the magic of Türkiye, with a six-night stay and itinerary that combines the country’s rich history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes. In vibrant Istanbul, where East meets West, we’ll visit iconic landmarks like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the bustling Grand Bazaar with expert guided tours.

Cappadocia

Then we venture to the otherworldly landscapes of Cappadocia, where ancient cave dwellings and fairy chimneys create a dreamlike setting. Enjoy guided visits to open-air museums, underground cities and local villages, with the option to soar above the valleys on a sunrise hot-air balloon ride. With comfortable accommodations, curated cultural experiences and seamless touring, this promises to be an unforgettable voyage of discovery in two of Türkiye’s most captivating regions.

Maldives & Scubaspa Liveaboard

From there, the adventure shifts to pure island bliss in the Maldives with a five-night luxury resort stay followed by a week-long cruise on Scubaspa, a floating resort catering to divers, non-divers and spa enthusiasts. Dive into the crystal-clear waters for world-class scuba diving and snorkelling, where every dive is an underwater dream of dazzling marine life and every snorkel trip a front-row seat to nature’s most colourful show.

After the thrill of discovery, unwind on powdery white sands or lounge on deck, indulge in fresh culturally-inspired cuisine, embrace the serenity of the turquoise lagoons, the endless blue horizon, and sunsets that appear to be painted by the gods.

Trip Duration

The total trip is three weeks long, departing Toronto Oct. 4, 2026, and is comprised of three segments priced separately – Türkiye, Maldives luxury resort and Maldives Scubaspa Cruise, plus airfare. Participants who do not wish to participate in the full trip itinerary may book selected segments; for example, Türkiye and Maldives resort, or Maldives resort and Maldives Scubaspa cruise.

Trip Segments

A minimum of 12 participants is required for each trip segment. The details and exact pricing for Türkiye will be provided as soon as it’s finalized.

• Türkiye Oct. 5 – 11, 2026 – six-night stay, with touring split between Istanbul and Cappadocia regions – package includes accommodation, guided tours and some meals – approximate cost $3500 CAD per person double occupancy.

• Maldives luxury resort Oct. 12 – 17, 2026 at the Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa – five-night stay with three meals per day – approximate cost $3500 USD per person based on double occupancy – the package will not include diving but diving is available through a PADI 5* Facility), and we will explore how many participants wish to pursue this option and go from there re arrangements. Snorkelling off your room looks interesting!

• The third segment with Scubaspa Cruise is a focal segment of the trip for which the details and pricing are finalized in the separate flyer below.

Scubaspa Cruise

  • Seven-night cruise: with packages catering to divers, non-divers and spa lovers.

  • For Divers: The itinerary is planned to maximize our chances of encounters with giant manta rays while visiting some of the best dive sites the central Maldivian atolls have to offer, featuring channel dives and a widely diverse marine ecosystem.

Please Note: It is urgent to receive Scubaspa Cruise deposits as soon as possible from people who wish to participate in this segment of the trip. This is paramount to securing the cabins that are currently on hold (all 5 Manta Suites, all 3 Dolphin Suites, and 4 Sea Star Suites) for a short space of time. The deposit is 25% USD of the package accommodation selected, per person.

Flights

Flights from Toronto are expected to cost approximately $3600 CAD Economy class per person for all three segments, with “Real Time” flights schedules and pricing available in December 2025. FYI there is a “draft” flight schedule included in the document above.
