.What is OUC?
OUC stands for Ontario Underwater Council. OUC is the provincial organization that represents the scuba diving community to government. OUC supports safe scuba diving practices, and provides liability insurance to its OUC members and clubs.

Participation in club events

  • Each Blue North member and guest participating in scuba and snorkelling events, and travelling with the Club on dive vacations, must be a member of the Ontario Underwater Council.
  • Participants at diving and at non-diving events (such as the BBQ) must sign the annual OUC Release, even if you are a non-scuba diver or a non-OUC member.
